APEX WINS THREE TECHNOLOGY ACCOUNTS

Toronto-based Apex Public Relations has added three new technology accounts to its roster. The firm has been named agency of record for Tech Data Canada, iW Technologies Inc. and Streamcheck. Tech Data is an IT logistics company based in Mississauga. Apex was one of three agencies shortlisted for the account. Previously public relations were handled in-house. IW Technologies is an enterprise desktop computing company based in Edmonton. IW's executive chairman Dave Wattling had worked with Apex on a previous occassion. Toronto-based Streamcheck provides streaming media monitoring services. Apex was one of two agencies that had been shortlisted for the account. Apex is the first AOR both iW Technologies and Streamcheck have hired. The agency will provide public relations counsel and media and analyst relations for all three companies. Tech Data, iW Technologies and Streamcheck join Adobe, Fuji Film Canada, Gateway Country, iPlanet E-Commerce Solutions and Springboard.ca on Apex's technology client list.
