STARBUCKS SERVING DELICIOUSLY DECADENT BEVERAGES

Starbucks is highlighting three of its specialty beverages in a new promotion running throughout the Ontario market. Radio spots, transit shelters, billboards, direct mail and newspaper advertising, featuring the "Deliciously Decadent" tagline, broke yesterday promoting Starbucks' Caramel Mocha, Caramel Macchiato and White Chocolate Mocha. According to company spokespeople, the promotion is designed to remind Canadians to treat themselves for their hard work and tolerate the weather by indulging in one of the coffee company's three specialty beverages. Advertising, running until the end of April, was created by Toronto's Echo Advertising and Marketing. Public relations for Starbucks in Ontario are handled by GCI Group.
