PDG STRATEGY CONCEPT MERGES WITH BLEU BLANC ROUGE

PDG Strategy Concept, a Montreal subsidiary of National Public Relations, is merging with Communications bleu blanc rouge, also of Montreal. Francis Armstrong, vice-president and general manager of PDG, will become a partner in blue blanc rouge. PDG will also become a shareholder of blue blanc rouge. The combined operations will operate under the Communications bleu blanc rouge banner. PDG specializes in corporate and pharmaceutical advertising as well as design and new technologies. Bleu blanc rouge president Serges Tougas said the partnership will provide "a new dimension to the service that we can offer our clients, particularly a graphic design group." PDG clients include the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Chambre des notaires du Québec, Wal-Mart Pharmacies, the Insurance Bureau of Canada and Merck Frosst. Bleu blanc rouge's client roster includes Loto-Québec, the Quebec Association of Toyota Dealerships, Group Telecom, Esso and RDS. No client conflicts were reported.
