NORTH YORK HOSPITAL EXAMINING AGENCIES

Toronto's North York General Hospital is looking for an agency to handle its first ever major re-branding campaign. Ruth Lewkowicz, director of public relations for the hospital, said despite some revisions and changes to the hospital's logo in the mid-90's, this will be the first effort of its kind for the hospital in its 33-year history. Responsibilities of the agency awarded the business will include strategic positioning, research, creative strategy and development of implementation plans. Lewkowicz said the hospital is currently in the middle of a fundraising initiative and once that effort has been completed, the re-branding will begin. She said the deadline for interested agencies is February 15. A decision expected by spring.
