SPRINT CANADA LAUNCHES ALL IN ONE CAMPAIGN

Toronto-based Sprint Canada is attempting to show Canadians how to simplify their work days in a new advertising campaign. The telecommunications company is promoting a unified messaging service for small and mid-sized businesses that was introduced last week. According to Sprint Canada, unified messaging lets you listen to you email over the phone, hear voicemail through your computer, receive fax information from your cellphone or computer and access messages from any Web browser by consolidating all of these functions into one mailbox. Advertising supporting the new service was created by Sprint Canada's agency-of-record Vickers & Benson Direct+Interactive of Toronto. Radio, print, direct mail, online and out-of-home advertising will feature the tagline "Communicate like never before." Juhani Eistrat, president of VBDI, said it was crucial for VBDI to communicate a complicated technology in an easy-to-understand fashion, since the product is about simplifying the business day for highly-mobile people. Advertising will run in key English-speaking markets across Canada until April.
