CBS SIGNS SURVIVOR 2 MARKETING PARTNERS
By Adnews Staff
With two weeks to go before CBS Television debuts the sequel to last summer's reality television series Survivor, the network has signed nine marketing sponsorships for Survivor 2: The Australian Outback. Seven of the nine; Bud Light, Doritos, Dr. Scholl's, Pontiac Aztek, Reebok, Target and Visa, were sponsors of the first Survivor. Joining them as sponsors for Survivor 2 are Cingular Wireless and Mountain Dew. Sponsorship packages include guaranteed category exclusivity, promotional billboards in each Survivor broadcast, logo placement on all CBS Survivor print ads and product placement, where applicable. Survivor 2 premieres Jan. 28 following Super Bowl XXXV. In Canada, Survivor 2 will be seen on the Global Television Network.
