CHAPTERS ONLINE CAROLERS TOURING DOWNTOWN SHOPPING AREAS

A group of Christmas Carolers will be touring downtown Toronto shopping areas this weekend singing a number of re-written Christmas carols. The event is supporting Toronto-based Chapters Online current holiday ad campaign running on English-language radio stations across Canada. The spots feature traditional Christmas carols that have been re-written to promote the benefits of shopping online at Chapters.ca. Titles such as "Deck the Halls," "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" and "Jingle Bells," have been changed to "Forget the Malls," "It Came Upon a Postal Truck" and "Jingle Hell." A total of seven songs have been re-written. Advertising for Chapters Online is done by BBDO Canada of Toronto.
