HILL & KNOWLTON OPENS SHAREHOLDER RESPONSE DIVISON

Toronto-based Hill & Knowlton Canada launched a new division yesterday called Hill and Knowlton Shareholder Response. The division will offer strategic communications services for public companies looking for a better understanding of their shareholder base. HKSR will be independently managed by Christopher Makuch as president and CEO. Margot Jordan will act as COO and vice president of finance. Michelle Borg and Ronald Vardon also join the division as directors. All four come to HKSR from Toronto-based Georgeson Shareholder Communications Canada. The division will serve both new and existing Hill & Knowlton clients in Canada from its offices in Toronto. The division will work with the agency's financial communications staff.
