CANADA POST DELIVERS DIMENSIONAL ADMAIL

Canada Post Corporation aims to give advertisers a new option for direct mail campaigns with Dimensional Addressed Admail. The plan allows the mailing of creative pieces that were previously too big to be mailed as Addressed Admail. Dimensional items are classified as either small, medium and large. A variety of delivery modes allow direct mail packages to contain product samples, videos and other promotional items. Canada Post is promoting Dimensional Addressed Admail with a direct mail campaign to established clients. The campaign uses a three dimensional cardboard suitcase containing a brochure and passport ballot which clients can use to enter to win one of three iMac computers. Clients can also enter a "Travel to a New Dimension" online contest for a trip to the Post Hotel in Banff National Park for the winner, a guest, four business partners and their guests.
