DISCOVERY CHANNEL HUNTING CROCODILES ON BIG SCREEN

Toronto-based Discovery Channel is hunting for crocodiles at Famous Players theatres. The hunt began Friday following the launch of a new campaign to promote The Crocodile Hunter, seen weeknights on Discovery at 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Sixty-second cinema spots in the Toronto and Vancouver markets are being supported with national print and radio executions. Creative for The Crocodile Hunter is presented in the form of a movie trailer with the tagline "This isn't Hollywood. This is as real as it gets. This is Discovery Channel." The campaign, from Enterprise Creative Selling of Toronto, is part of Discovery's "Blockbuster Campaign" that launched earlier this year. Additional shows that have been featured in the "Blockbuster Campaign" include Walking with Dinosaurs, Sharks in 3-D and The Sex Files.
