TIM HORTONS SERVING NEW DISH

Tim Hortons' customers have been eating more than just soups and sandwiches for lunch after the chain introduced a new dish to its menu earlier this month. Customers who order Tim's Chicken Stew are being served their lunch in an edible, oven-baked Bread Bowl. Michael Lorenzi, director of brand advertising for Oakville, Ontario-based Tim Hortons, called the new dish "a great addition to our lunch menu as it continues to offer our customers a quick and satisfying homestyle lunch at a good price." The new dish is being supported with a multimedia advertising campaign from Enterprise Creative Selling of Toronto. National television, radio and outdoor advertising, which broke Oct. 30, focuses on the dish's edible Bread Bowl and includes the tagline "Come Home For Lunch." In one television spot, three men are seen in an office discussing their eating abilities. Bragging rights go to the guy who "ate the bowl" at Tim Hortons.
