Sarah Dann is joining the creative team at Vickers & Benson Advertising ad as creative assistant. She joins the agency from Pearson Education where she worked as new media developmental editor, editing content for university textbooks and educational Web sites.
High Road Communications has added four new employees to its staff. Monica LaBarge and Dianne Wong join the firm's Toronto office as account executives. LaBarge was most recently an account coordinator at Hill & Knowlton and Wong held the same title at Pydea. The firm's Ottawa office welcomes Heather McCulligh as an account supervisor and Kathryn Schwab as a senior consultant. McCulligh's appointment marks her return to the agency from the Ottawa-Carleton Human Society where she was manager of public relations. She first joined High Road in 1998. Most recently, Schwab was manager of marketing and communications at NetManage. Also announced was five promotions within the agency's two locations. Hugh Scholey and Michelle Naval are both promoted from account executives to account supervisors and Sarah Burns is promoted from senior consultant to account director. All three are based out of the firm's Toronto office. Marisa Marzano rises from account executive to account supervisor and Adrienne Vienneau is promoted from account supervisor to senior consultant in the firm's Ottawa office.
