TRIBAR BRINGS BIG PICTURE TO CITY STREETS

Toronto-based Tribar Industries, manufacturer of the LumatronX TV Boards, has launched its third TV board in Toronto's downtown core. Located on the southwest corner of Spadina Avenue and Dundas Street, the TV board located at the top level of the entrance to the Dragon City shopping centre. Measuring 12 feet x 16 feet, the board is full screen, running a 90-second ad loop, 24 hours a day. Initial advertisers include Global TV, Yahoo! Canada and McDonald's. Additional Tribar locations include Gardiner at the CNE and Gardiner at Spadina. The Spadina and Dundas board is designed for a closer sightline, according to Toronto-based Media Alternatives, which handles advertising sales for the LumatronX TV Boards. The two Gardiner locations, which feature half screen and half vinyl, are intended for a longer view range, targeting drivers along the Gardiner Expressway.
