DXSTORM.COM TURNS TO IMPIRIC FOR FALL MARKETING INITIATIVE

In September, when Mississauga, Ontario-based Dxstorm.com was preparing for its fall marketing campaign, the e-commerce service provider turned to Impiric Communications of Toronto. Dxstorm.com offers Internet e-commerce services to small and medium-sized business through a network of resellers, channel partners and brand partners. The company's fall initiative was to increase the number of subscribers to eStoresCanada.com and CartsCanada.com, two e-commerce services of its brand partner Canada Post. Impiric launched a three-month national telemarketing campaign mid-October targeting 120,000 Canadian businesses. A direct mail campaign will roll out Nov. 8, 2000. The DM piece is designed to drive traffic to the eStoresCanada.com Web site as well as direct potential subscribers to call a toll-free number. Dxstorm.com plans on tracking the results of its fall activities to use in its marketing initiatives for next year.
