IAB MEMBERSHIP ON THE RISE

The Internet Advertising Bureau of Canada is growing. The national organization of Internet publishers, advertisers and agencies has announced the addition of over three dozen companies to its membership in the past five months. The addition of its newest members, including CIBC, Echo Advertising, Fresh Advertising, Media Metrix, Stock House, Telus and The Bristol Group, brings the total number of member companies within the organization to 120. Daintry Springer, executive director of IAB explained, companies are drawn to joining IAB Canada because of its hands-on approach to developing the Internet advertising industry. In achieving its goal of developing the Internet advertising industry, IAB holds monthly meetings with publishers, Web site developers, advertisers and agencies to discuss major issues within the industry.
