COHN & WOLFE RAISES AWARENESS FOR JUVENILE DIABETES

Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Canada, based in Markham, Ontario, is beginning Diabetes Month in Canada with an awareness campaign from Cohn & Wolfe of Toronto. The agency's consumer marketing practice is launching the effort to raise awareness among Canadian about the disease. A national spokesperson tour with local researchers and young adults suffering from Type 1 diabetes will run throughout November. Cohn & Wolfe will also develop and distribute media kits to raise awareness as well as distribute a public service announcement developed by Creative Storm of Calgary. Diabetes is a chronic disease in which the body does not produce or effectively use insulin. Insulin is a hormone that converts food into energy. The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation provides funds for diabetes research around the world. It's mission is to find a cure for diabetes as well as its complications through the support of research.
