ONLINE CAREER SITE MAKES A MOVE

Careerclick.com is undertaking a $2 million ad campaign entitled "Make a Career Move". The effort broke yesterday with television spots on TSN, Bravo, Women's Television Network, Life, History, Space, CBC Newsworld, CTV NewsNet, The Weather Network, The Food Network and Discovery. The spots highlight career changing beliefs, such as the realization that even a desirable career can stall and that a change of scenery is sometimes necessary. The TV ads are accompanied by transit shelter advertising in Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto. Banners ads are running on the Engage, 24/7, ValueClick and Canada.com networks of online properties. Print executions are running in the National Post as well as Saturday Night magazine, National Post Business magazine and several trade publications. The campaign, from Fresh Advertising of Toronto, is being supported with a media relations effort and a direct mail component from BenchMark Porter Novelli. The direct mail campaign is scheduled to launch later this month, targeting recruiters and human resources professionals.
