CORMARK MACPHEE MAKES ITS MARK

MacPhee + Partners of Toronto has combined its operations with Cormark Communications of London, Ontario to create the marketing communications agency Cormark MacPhee. The two agencies had been working together for the past few months, Janet Carnegie, vice president of corporate communications for Cormark MacPhee said and combined their operations following Toronto-based marketing communications organization Maxxcom taking a financial interest in MacPhee. Financial details were not disclosed. Maxxcom already held a majority interest in Cormark. The new agency will specialize in several sectors including travel, hospitality, finance, agriculture, pharmaceutical and technology and counts Pfizer Canada, Enbridge, Brother International and TD Canada Trust among its clients. Stewart MacPhee, founder of MacPhee + Partners, has assumed the role of senior vice president, general manager Toronto and David Edward, formerly president of Cormark, retains the same title at Cormark MacPhee.
