By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based outsourced marketing services company Mosaic Group has announced a partnership with UK retailer J Sainsbury plc and telecommunications company BT Cellnet. The trio will launch a wireless phone program called Sainsbury's One, which will be offered to Sainsbury's Reward cardholders. Sainsbury, which operates over 440 supermarkets in the UK, will provide its brand name for the program and BT Cellnet will provide the wireless network to support the program. Mosaic will handle all marketing and billing services. Sainsbury's One will be supported with an in-store marketing and direct mail campaign which will begin rolling out in November. Mosaic will work with its subsidiary eForce and an associate company Intelecom Systems Inc. for the program's marketing and direct sales service support. The Sainsbury's One's first customers are expected to begin making calls in January.
