DINERS CLUB/ENROUTE AEROPLAN CAMPAIGN TAKES OFF

A new advertising campaign for the Aeroplan frequent flier program of Diners Club/enRoute is underway. Creative focuses on the opportunities for family travel the program's reward miles provide. Aeroplan targets business travellers. The tagline is "More Card for Your Business, More Aeroplan Miles for You." A series of three ads depict travel scenes with a parent and child. The ads also promote an offer of 5,000 bonus Aeroplan miles when consumers sign up and become a member. The campaign was created by Impiric of Toronto and is running on billboards at major airports, in the business section of The Globe and Mail, National Post and Les Affaires and in major business magazines. Air Canada and Canadian Airlines passengers will also see in-flight advertising, including a 30-second video and print ads in EnRoute magazine, plus ads on the backs of Air Canada boarding passes and ticket jackets.
