HILL & KNOWLTON, B&O TEAM UP FOR NETACTIVE ACCOUNT
By Adnews Staff
Ottawa-based NetActive, which provides companies with digital management solutions, has awarded its public relations agency-of-record title to Hill & Knowlton Canada of Ottawa and Blanc & Otus of Boston. B&O, which specializes in the advanced technology sector, was aquired by H&K in February of 1999, but retains its brand. The agency now serves as the headquarters for H&K's global technology practice. The agency team won the NetActive business following a review in which the two pitched for the account together after a NetActive board member referred B&O for the business. Previously public relations were handled in-house. NetActive specializes in digital rights management. Its client roster includes Blockbuster, Disney Interactive, Time Warner and Sega.
