MAZDA PARKS ONLINE INITIATIVE AT ONX.COM

Mazda Canada, based in Toronto, has turned to OnX.com to build its new online e-commerce initiative and Web site. Mazda appointed OnX.com following a review that included two additional business solutions providers. Greg Young, spokesperson for Mazda Canada, said the new online initiative will include the company's consumer Web presence, dealer communications and business-to-business communications system. Mazda will maintain its domain at www.mazda.ca for its consumer presence but may introduce additional domain names and addresses. According to Young, because of the scope of the program, systems will be phased in beginning with the consumer site in early October and continuing with Mazda's dealer communications system by the end of the year. Toronto-based OnX.com offers companies e-commerce business solutions.
