HMV IN TUNE FOR BACK-TO-SCHOOL SEASON

Toronto-based HMV North America is offering students heading back to class a "Survival Kit." The kits are free with the purchase of any two specially marked CDs during the "Groove Back to School" sale which began yesterday. The HMV "survival kit" consists of e-coupons, Rogers AT&T Pay As You Go phone cards, instant win cards, a $5 online credit for HMV.com as well as offers and samples from Burger King, Doritos, Greyhound Canada, La Senza Girl & La Senza, mmmarvellous muffins, New York Fries, Randy River and Skittles. The "Groove Back to School" sale and "Survival Kit" are being supported with a national television and regional radio advertising campaign created in-house by HMV. Media for HMV is handled by OMD. Public relations are handled by Strategic Objectives, both of Toronto.
