BUCKLEY'S NEW CAPLETS DON'T TASTE AWFUL BUT STILL WORK

W.K. Buckley Limited of Mississauga, Ontario is preparing for the upcoming cough and cold season with the launch of several new products. Making its way into stores this fall is Buckley's Extra Strength Cold & Flu Caplets as well as a new jack & jill Bedtime cough suppressant. The launch of the Cold & Flu Caplets marks Buckley's entry into a new product line having previously only offered its cold syrups and rubs to consumers. David Rieger, vice president of sales and marketing for Buckley's, said the new Cold & Flu caplets was "a natural extension for us." The launch of the new jack & jill bedtime, he said, rounded out Buckley's children's line. The new caplets will be available in nighttime and daytime relief formulations and will be supported with a new national television spot, product inserts, in-store displays and radio promotion. Buckley's will also be running its "Lies" national jack & jill television spot this fall. Additional promotion for the children's line will include product inserts, in-store displays and radio promotion. The new products will also be promoted online at <http://www.buckleys.com>. Advertising for Buckley's is done by riddochdickinson of Toronto. The jack & jill children's line will also be debuting new product packaging this fall moving away from the original white background to new coloured backgrounds designed to make the products stand out on the shelf. Packaging for Buckley's is done by Cooper Williamson Inc. of Toronto.
