LCBO FEATURES CONSEQUENCES IN NEW POSTER

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario unveiled its latest initiative as part of its Social Responsibility campaign yesterday with the debut of a new poster that warns of the consequences of buying alcohol for minors. Carrying the message "Buying for a Minor is a Major Offense", the English and French posters will be displayed in all 602 LCBO stores throughout the province. The new posters are designed to address the issue of second party purchases where an adult will buy alcohol for a minor or an intoxicated individual and the possible consequences they may face including fines and or imprisonment. The posters, created by Communiqué of Toronto, feature an individual who has had police style simulated mugshots taken will be displayed in LCBO stores until the end of September.
