MR. CHRISTIE GOES TO QUEBEC WINTER CARNIVAL

Toronto-based Nabisco Ltd. has signed on as title sponsor of the Quebec Winter Carnival. In the name of its Mr. Christie brand, Nabisco has agreed to be title sponsor for the 2001, 2002 and 2003 editions of the annual carnival. Toronto-based Kellogg Canada had held the sponsorship for the past three years. Elaine Lefrancois, president of the Quebec Winter Carnival, said the strategic partnership with Nabisco will further enhance the carnival's profile while at the same time confirming its leadership position as one the world's top winter festivals. Over one million participants attend the carnival, taking part in 200 activities.
