Yves Blain has been appointed vice president of strategic planning at Blitz promo.direct.data in Montreal. Blitz is a subsidiary of Cossette Communication Group. Blain will be responsible for developing the direct marketing and database management sectors at Blitz. Prior to joining Blitz Blain was vice president of strategic development at FCB Direct.
Nielsen Media Research has named Kevin Kenny director of sales. Kenny joins Nielsen Media from ACNielsen, where he worked as a business manager within the new business development group.
Steve Kirsch has been hired as vice president at Markham, Ontario-based Mediadollars. Most recently he was an account executive at Initiative Media.
