CHRIS WARD ATTENDS UNB
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Chris Ward & Associates will return to the University of New Brunswick. After working with the school for the past year on a project basis, building an Ontario student recruitment plan and creating a series of print ads, the agency has recently been selected in an agency competition to further develop student recruitment materials and revamp the UNB's recruitment materials for the 2001/2002 school year. Chris Ward was chosen for the assignment over four additional unnamed agencies. The incumbent was SGCI Communications of Sackville, New Brunswick, which had worked with the university for the past few years. In addition to creating new student recruitment materials, the agency will conduct market research and build on the Ontario recruitment plan developed last fall. The University of New Brunswick is working to raise its profile in Ontario where a double class of Grade 12 and Grade 13 students will graduate in 2003 due to the cancellation of Grade 13 in Ontario. The double number of students is expected to place pressure on Ontario universities to accommodate an increased number of incoming students.
