WOODY WOODPECKER RETURNS TO SWISS CHALET

Swiss Chalet has teamed up with Universal Studios to give Canadians a chill this summer. The two have partnered on the "Woody and Chilly Willy's Cool Summer Venture" promotion, featuring Woody Woodpecker and his penguin friend Chilly Willy. The promotion, running until September 1 at Swiss Chalet restaurants across Canada, follows the chain's "Woody Zone" summer promotion last year. This year's promotion, targeting families with young children, includes Woody sundaes, Woody trivia and collectible sundae spoons and dishes. A 15-second television spot, created by Swiss Chalet's ad agency Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll of Toronto, is supporting the promotion, in addition to in-restaurant materials, menu inserts, billboards and radio advertising.
