Joe White has been promoted from national account manager to sales and marketing director for the online division of Today's Parent Group. In his new role, White will be responsible for the marketing and advertising sales on all three of the company's Web sites including <http://www.todaysparent.com>, <http://www.todaysgrandparent.com> and <http://www.gepregnancy.com).
Vickers and Benson Advertising has welcomed aboard three new employees on the Bank of Montreal account. Kevin Pfuhl joins the agency as account director, Cassandra Pervin is appointed senior account supervisor and Dana Brochu joins the team as account supervisor. Prior to V&B, Pfuhl held the same position at Gee, Jeffery & Partners, Pervin comes to the agency from Brandworks International where she was an account supervisor and Brochu joins V&B from Gee, Jeffery & Partners where she worked as a senior account executive. In addition to the new appointments on the BMO account, V&B has appointed Nicola Fitchett account coordinator and promoted Lisa Fernandes to account supervisor. Fitchett is a recent graduate of McGill University and has worked as an intern at BBDO. Fernandes is promoted from account executive and in her new role, adds the M&M Meat Shop account to her current responsibilities on the Canadian Tourism Commission business.
Amanda Mills has been appointed a junior account executive at the public relations agency ETC Communications. In her new role, Mills will be working on the creation and development of communications program's for the agency's clients, working with other ETC team members. Most recently, she was a marketing and communications officer in the Canadian Hydrographic Service, a federal government agency that is part of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
