E-business and IT technology services provider EDS Canada Inc. has appointed James Toccacelli senior vice president of Canada communications. Toccacelli comes to EDS from Corporate Communications Limited where he was vice president of public affairs. In his new role, Toccacelli will be responsible for the company's Canadian internal and external communications programs including advertising, marketing communications and public relations. Also announced was the appointment of Monique Plante as senior vice president of human resources. Prior to joining EDS, Plante was assistant deputy minister of the human resources branch at Human Resources Development Canada.
