FUJI DEVELOPING KIDSUMMER MEMORIES

Fuji Photo Film Canada of Mississauga, Ontario, a corporate sponsor of the two-month summer long KIDSUMMER 2000 program, has announced several ways for Toronto kids to create memories this summer. The company has announced the launch of a photo contest running throughout the KIDSUMMER program and will provide kids the opportunity to climb the three-story, inflatable climbing wall called Mount Fuji. KIDSUMMER, running July 1 to the end of August, features interactive and educational events for children and families to attend at venues throughout Toronto. The company's Mount Fuji will be at five venues and kids will be encouraged to climb the 30-foot mountain and have their photo taken. In addition, Fuji will set up a ballot box at each venue. The first five winners will receive a Fuji QuickSnap one time use camera and are then able to use it to capture memories at the event. All KIDSUMMER event participants are encouraged to enter photos taken throughout the summer for a chance to win Fuji film prize packs. The winning photo will also be published in the November issue of Today's Parent magazine. Karen Tam, marketing communications manager for Fuji Photo Film Canada, said the company's participation in the program is a natural fit because photography has always been a part of capturing summer fun. Fuji Photo Film offers a variety of imaging products for families. Public relations for Fuji Photo Film Canada is handled by Apex Public Relations of Toronto.
