PYDEA EXPANDS CLIENT ROSTER

Toronto-based public relations agency Pydea Inc. has added a trio of new clients to its technology and new media roster. Montreal-based Hyperchip Inc. providers of extreme performance network systems, has turned to Pydea for Canadian and U.S. media relations services. The agency will also be providing counsel and support for Hyperchip at trade shows and conferences. Toronto-based Bird on a Wire Networks Inc. has named Pydea its public relations agency-of-record. As AOR Pydea's responsibilities include Canadian media relations and communications counsel. Media Metrix Canada, also of Toronto, hired Pydea to handle its Canadian media relations activities as well as provide strategic counsel. The agency will also develop marketing and communications plans for Media Metrix to increase the company's brand awareness as well as its market presence. Pydea was awarded each of the assignments based on its experience in the areas of technology and new media and on its success with other Canadian start-up companies. Previously public relations for Hyperchip, Bird on a Wire and Media Metrix was handled in-house.
