NTN AND COORS LIGHT RISE TO THE CHALLENGE

NTN Interactive Network and Coors Canada, both of Toronto, have signed a one-year exclusive promotional deal. Under the terms of the agreement, NTN will run advertisements for Coors Light on its interactive sports and trivia game network. NTN will also promote a specially created custom trivia game called "The Coors Light Rocky Mountain Challenge" which features general knowledge trivia questions on an outdoor theme. The NTN network is located in pubs and restaurants across Canada and the U.S. "NTN provides us with an interactive branded experience directly at the point of purchase," Dave Baskin, marketing director for Coors Canada said. The deal begins June 1, 2000 and runs until May 31, 2001. The Coors Light ads will be adapted from the brand's television creative. Public relations for NTN is handled by NextMedia of Toronto. Coors Canada is a joint venture between Molson Canada and the Coors Brewing Company of Golden, Colorado.
