ZERO-KNOWLEDGE LOOKS TO U.S. AGENCIES

According to a report in the National Post, Montreal-based Zero-Knowledge Systems is looking for a U.S. agency to handle its $24 million fall advertising campaign. Sharon McCarry, marketing director for Zero-Knowledge, said the company felt no one north of the border had all the experience and competency "we need help in." The fall campaign is expected to include print and television advertising with a focus on the U.S. market. New York agencies Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA Chiat/Day and Mad Dogs & Englishmen are reported to be meeting with Zero-Knowledge in addition to Black Rocket and Leagas Delaney, both of San Francisco and Arnold Communications of Boston. The company launched a $6 million print campaign in April that ran in U.S. magazines. The ads were created in-house with help from ICE Integrated Communications & Entertainment of Toronto. An agency decision is expected shortly. The new agency will report to the company's in-house creative director.
