QUAKER CHALLENGING TASTE IN ONLINE CONTEST

Quaker Oats Company of Canada Limited, based in Peterborough, Ontario, is supporting its Crispy Minis rice snacks with the introduction of a new brand Web site, an online contest, in-store sampling events and national print and television advertising. The brand's new Web site can be found at <http://www.crispyminis.com> and was developed by Web Feat Multimedia Inc. of Toronto. Throughout the summer, visitors to the site will be invited to participate in the "Challenge your Taste" contest, where they can win prizes from retail partners including: Fitness Depot, MusicWorld, Roots, Ticketmaster and Royal Airlines. In-store sampling events at grocery stores across Canada are supporting the brand in addition to a brand awareness advertising campaign featuring a 30-second television commercial and magazine advertising. In-store sampling events are also scheduled throughout the summer. Advertising for Crispy Minis is done by Harrod & Mirlin/FCB of Toronto.
