TELETOON AND SEGA PLAN UNREAL SUMMER
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Teletoon and Los Angeles-based Sega are gearing up for an "unreal" summer vacation. The two have partnered in the annual "Summer Kick Off Contest." Beginning May 22, a 45-second on-air promotional spot will be inviting kids to send in their descriptions of the most "unreal" way they could spend their summer holiday. One winner will be awarded the grand prize of a "Summer Kick Off" party complete with ten friends and Teletoon. The grand prize winner and their guests will also win a Sega Dreamcast console and The Sonic Adventure game. Fifty runner-up winners will be awarded a limited edition Teletoon baseball cap and beach towel set. The "Summer Kick-Off Contest" runs for four weeks with the supporting on-air spot, created in-house, running throughout the promotion. Kids can write the animation station or email their "unreal" ideas to <http://www.teletoon.com>.
