PALM PUBLICITE LISTENING TO THE CALL OF THE WILD
By Adnews Staff
Montreal-based Palm Publicite turned to the great outdoors for inspiration in creating Labatt's new Wildcat Grand Safari contest. The contest features promotional materials depicting images from the wild, which are designed to increase sales and build on the beer's brand image. Labatt partnered with Sepaq, the Societe des etablissements de plein air du Quebec, for the promotion. Hundreds of instant win prizes will be given away in cases of Wildcat including night-vision glasses, disposable cameras and compass key-chains as well as five safaris to Sepaq sites throughout Quebec. Sepaq is a government agency who's mandate is to operate recreational facilities throughout the province. Consumers can enter the contest by finding their game piece inside cases of Wildcat. Safari winners will travel to Anticosti Island to watch the seals or the puffins, to Matane to admire the moose, to Gite Mont-Albert to follow the caribou and to Fort-Prevel to see the whales. In-store displays are promoting the contest and additional support will be seen through Wildcat's sponsorship of RDS' outdoor programming. The Wildcat Grand Safari contest is running in Quebec only until mid-June.
