The National Post has expanded its relationship with marketing consultant Garth Drabinsky by appointing him senior advisor of marketing, public relations and promotions. The appointment includes both the national newspaper and its associated product lines. Drabinsky most recently led an advertising campaign for National Post supporting the launch of Saturday Night magazine as a weekly publication to be distributed in the Saturday editions of the newspaper. In his new role, Drabinsky will be advising on all of the National Post's creative advertising, media purchasing and placement activities.
Eli Lilly Canada has appointed Laurel Swartz manager of corporate communications, effective immediately. In her new role, Swartz will be responsible for both the strategic direction and implementation of corporate communication activities. Swartz will also be responsible for ensuring those activities complement marketing, advertising and business plans. Prior to joining Eli Lilly Canada, Swartz was manager, healthcare communications at National PharmaCom, a division of National Public Relations.
