MR. SUB PROMOTION IN THE BAG

Toronto-based Mr. Sub will break its largest national consumer promotion ever on Monday. The "It's in the Bag" promotion will run at over 500 locations across the country and will be supported with television and radio advertising in addition to in-store collateral materials. Consumers will receive a free ReeseSticks snack size bar and a scratch-and-win card with the purchase of a sub or wrap and a Coca-Cola product. Promotional partners include Ford Motor Company of Canada, Hershey and Signature Vacations. Prizes available to be won range from Mr. Sub menu items to a 2000 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible to one of ten trips to the Bahamas. Six weeks of national English-only advertising will feature a sandwich-bag puppet as the spokesperson. The promotion and all supporting advertising was developed by Toronto-based Brandworks International.
