REACTINE LAUNCHES CHILDREN'S ALLERGY RELIEF

As allergy season nears, Pfizer Canada Inc. of Kirkland, Quebec, is expanding its Reactine line of allergy relief products to include a new banana-grape flavored syrup aimed at children. Available in drug stores and pharmacies nationally, Reactine Syrup is a 24-hour metabolite, which means it does not have to be processed by the liver before it can start relieving allergy symptoms such as coughing, wheezing and itchy or watery eyes. The launch of Reactine Syrup coincides with the start of the spring season, when pollen from trees and grass begins hitting the air. Pfizer is promoting Reactine Syrup with in-store displays and information kits created by MCP Marketing of Montreal. The company will also feature the syrup in a radio campaign for the overall Reactine brand scheduled to launch later in the allergy season. Advertising for Pfizer Canada is done by Taxi Advertising and Design of Toronto. PR for the company's over-the-counter products is handled by Strategic Objectives, also of Toronto.
