PJ DDB ANNOUNCES NEW GROUP

Following a pilot run in its Vancouver office last fall, Palmer Jarvis DDB has announced the introduction of the Brand Management Group within its agency structure. The group is designed to expand the role of client services to include centralized brand management. Clients will now work with one consistent BMG team which will develop a strategic plan for the client's brand. The team assumes the planning and senior account management roles for all communications including mass advertising, online communications, branding and design, public relations and data base marketing. The new structure will be rolled out to PJ DDB's Toronto office and on an individual client basis for the agency's Winnipeg and Edmonton offices. "Rather than focus solely on mass advertising, the Brand Management Group now has the knowledge, resources and internal structure to work with a client to develop a totally integrated communications program across multiple disciplines," senior vice president, director of the Brand Management Group, Vancouver, Bill Baker said. Management appointments to the group's team are expected to be announced shortly.
