24/7 MEDIA SIGNS "SALLY"

"Sally", of Toronto-based Wampole Canada Inc., has signed with 24/7 Media Canada. The manufacturer of over-the-country products has struck a Web advertising agreement with 24/7 to promote the addition of "Sally, The Virtual Nutritionist" to the Wampole web site. The online campaign is designed to raise awareness of consumers across the country, said Aubrey Dan, president of Wampole Canada. Banner ads running on 24/7's Web network are primarily targeting Canadian women over the age of 45 in addition to anyone interested in improving their health. First time visitors to the Wampole site can complete a survey that assesses their lifestyle, taking into account factors such as their degree of physical activity, nutrition, dietary fat, smoking, alcohol and weight. "Sally" then produces a personalized analysis and a recommendation on what vitamins the person should be taking, along with an explanation why. Additional promotion of the online virtual nutritionist includes POP materials created in-house. "Sally, The Virtual Nutritionist" made its debut on the Wampole site March 22.
