AVAILABLEMEDIA.COM GOES ONLINE

A newly-launched web site intends to offer Canadian media planners a resource for planning their campaigns. AvailableMedia.com, a partnership between InShow Media Inc. and ThinData, both of Toronto, debuted last week with a demonstration to media planners at BBDO Canada in Toronto. The site offers information about advertising space in a variety of media including television, radio, print, outdoor, Internet, elevator and others on national and local levels. Planners can review available advertising options individually or as part of a campaign profile set up on the site. Information related to the specifics of the campaign, such as budget, timeline and geographic location, can be entered and matched up with available ad space listed on the site. Mike Wixson, president and CEO of AvailableMedia.com, said the information on the site will be updated constantly.
