DOUBLECLICK CANADA GETS FOCUSED

Toronto-based DoubleClick Canada has appointed its first advertising agency and has launched a new trade campaign. The appointment of Toronto-based The Crichton Kim-Kirkland Company marks the first time DoubleClick has turned to a Canadian shop to handle its Canadian print and online creative. Previously DoubleClick Canada adapted U.S. creative from Digital Pulp of New York, which handles advertising for its parent company DoubleClick Inc. The new trade campaign for DoubleClick Canada is running nationally in English and French targeting media planners, marketers and clients of the network. The campaign includes print advertising in trade magazines with an online campaign scheduled to follow shortly. Online advertising will run on Web sites that receive high traffic from agencies and media planners. The tagline for the campaign is "Get Focused Online"
