PEOPLESOFT BEE-GINS NATIONAL AD CAMPAIGN

Toronto-based PeopleSoft Canada is launching its first "made-in-Canada" national advertising campaign. Previously the company adapted U.S. creative for the Canadian market. The new campaign, created by Toronto-based 20/20 Incite, targets executives and corporate decision makers using print and online advertising. "Newspaper billboard" ads featuring English and French Internet URL slogans such as "www.be e or beware.com" and "www.be e or behind.com" began running today in The Globe and Mail and Les Affaires. The URLs are linked to Web ads designed to promote ebusiness software that feature a honey bee and a beehive. The ads are intended to increase brand recognition whether or not readers go to the Web address. The URL banner campaign will also be running in computer industry trade magazines. PeopleSoft is a provider of ebusiness and analytic applications. PR for PeopleSoft is handled by Maverick Public Relations of Toronto.
