ATLANTIC LOTTERY CORPORATION PLAYING CLUE
By Adnews Staff
The Atlantic Lottery Corporation of Moncton, NB has launched a new $2 Scratch and Win ticket based on the board game Clue. The game differs from traditional scratch and win tickets in that it's what you don't scratch that makes you a winner, said Tammy Mazerolle, supervisor of customer relations at Atlantic Lottery Corporation. Players reveal suspects, weapons and rooms just like in the board game. To win, a player must solve the mystery and eliminate all but one combination of clues from the ticket's checklist. Prizes range from $2 to $10,000. The tickets are being sold in the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador. A five week supporting advertising campaign from Corporate Communications Ltd. of Halifax launched yesterday which includes television, print and point-of-sale materials. The Scratch and Win Clue game is being targeted to players looking for something different and fans of the original board game.
