NINTENDO & YTV ASKING FOR VIEWERS FINAL ANSWER

Vancouver-based Nintendo of Canada Ltd. and Toronto-based YTV Canada, Inc. are asking viewers "Who Wants To Be A Pokemon Trainer Extraordinaire?" This latest sales promotion is supporting the launch of Nintendo's new Pokemon game Pokemon Stadium for Nintendo 64. The YTV and Nintendo promotion launches March 20 and runs for three weeks during YTV's weekend morning programming block Snit Station. On-air live mentions during Snit Station will be supported with a 30-second tune-in spot and a 45-second contest detail spot both created in-house by YTV. An online component including a Pokemon game and contest details are available at the YTV website. Five grand prizes, one online and four on-air, of a $500 Nintendo shopping spree at Wal-Mart are available to be won. The "Who Wants To Be A Pokemon Trainer Extraordinaire?" promotion asks Pokemon trivia questions during Snit Station programming. Viewers call a toll free number via which the first 32 callers will have the chance to play the game. Viewers will be asked two questions. Upon answering the first question correctly the viewer will win an official Pokemon character card. If the second question is answered correctly, the player is entered in a random draw for one of the five grand prizes. The YTV and Nintendo promotion runs until mid-April. A random draw of all entries will be held on April 12.
