TORONTO'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPING OFFICE CREATING AWARENESS

A new awareness campaign from Toronto's Economic Development Office is communicating the message "Economic Development - your address says it all". The campaign is designed to reach out to the local business community that includes 80,000 existing businesses. Awareness Campaign 2000 is using print, radio and transit advertising, in addition to a direct mail campaign, to acknowledge the value of a Toronto business address and to encourage members of the existing business community to make use of services available through the Economic Development Office. Economic Development staff assist business with location, relocation and expansion, exports promotion, construction facilitation and economic research. Transit shelter posters went up earlier this month while two new radio spots hit the airwaves today on CFTR 680. Advertising from Markham, Ontario-based Kenneth Caplan & Associates is scheduled to run until the end of March.
