VBN REACHING OUT TO WIRELESS MARKET

Toronto-based VBN Virtual Billboard Network is reaching out to the wireless consumer market through a strategic alliance with PCS Innovations Inc. VBN, in partnership with Toronto-based PCS, will offer clinets the ability to deliver customized messaging to wireless devices. Using Engage Technologies advertising management software, AdManager, VBN will target text-based advertising campaigns against user data such as demographics, advertising preference, and appliance type to those who have opted for VBN's permission-based marketing program. The program delivers information subscribers have requested in addition to related advertising. PCS will use its Internet middleware application, mobileMAGIC with AdManager, to distribute targeted messages to individual mobile devices. The new mobile Internet advertising services will be offered to VBN customers who request it, in addition to VBN's online advertising services. Currently VBN has over 200 participating Web sites in its Internet advertising network. PR for VBN is handled by PYDEA Inc. of Toronto.
